COVID-19 : A Distressing start to 2020

A profound truth possessed by the wise is that - God takes a vacation every few decades. 

2020 was the wrong time to take one. The new COVID-19 disease has swept the world leaving behind a massive death toll of over 20,000. Many countries have tried to heroically end this modern plague but none have been entirely successful.

COVID-19 is a respiratory infection caused by a corona-virus. Originating in China, it has spread across the world traversing all the continents except Antarctica(it probably doesn't like penguins).

Countries including, but not limited to USA, India, New Zealand have initiated lock-down and have halted non-essential travel.

A result of COVID-19

The most hard-hit country has been Italy, the land of pizza ...

with an unappetizing death toll of over 7,000(Surely it has been targeted by the virus so that the rest of humanity would go insane due to a shortage of delicious pizza).

Due to the state of things, stocks have fallen and can't get back up. God better come back quickly, otherwise there's bound to be a modern Economic Depression soon.
