Brawl Stars - The Perfect Casual Mobile Game?

Finnish developer SuperCell has been dropping game after game in the mobile market, each of them with their own flavor and style. One of their most popular games, Clash of Clans has hit over 500 million downloads on Google Play Store. All of SuperCell's games are freemium, but they are presented with a balance which allows enjoyment of the game without spending. A brilliant tactic enlarging their markets for all species of gamer.
Brawl Stars isn't the most original of games. In a nutshell, it's a 2d multiplayer shoot-em-up in which you play as different characters (or brawlers) who have different completely varying skill sets. You play head-to-head players across the globe in game modes like Gem Grab, Brawl Ball, Show Down and a few others. Its simple control scheme is intuitive to even the most primitive of gamers.
Brawl Stars is very satisfying to play and games are always different allowing it to be a fun party game. The graphics are cartoony and the fighting is comical. In-app purchases in the game do allow you to upgrade brawlers, but the matchmaking causes you to play with people of similar skill level, causing a free 2 play strategy to be viable.

The only downsides to this game are that it can be a bit boring during long playthroughs, which allows it to be a good casual game, but not much of a competitive one. However, the game does boast a competitive community with worldwide tournaments being conducted daily. The game also does not have much of a soundtrack, but music is easily forgotten amidst the chaos in battle.

All in all, Brawl Stars is a solid mobile game title which has a good balance between fun and addicting.
